MICDS faculty and students have a beautiful campus and state-of-the-art facilities that enhance their educational experience each and every day. However, the School never takes for granted that it is what happens in these buildings' classrooms and labs, on its stages and athletic fields, that truly make the difference. We ask that all parents "peek past our pillars" and inside to catch a glimpse of an educational experience that is truly among the best in the nation.
The natural beauty of the 100-acre MICDS campus serves as a perfect backdrop for the School's exceptional facilities. Some of the resources offered to students, teachers and the community include nine classroom buildings, 15 science labs, five computer labs and 300 computers throughout the School available for student use, three libraries, three professional quality theatres and two assembly halls, seven art studios, five music rooms, two art galleries, three lunchrooms, two gyms, a playground and outstanding athletic fields and facilities. As a result of the School's $46 million capital campaign, MICDS has expanded its facilities to include Olson Hall, the new "heart" of the campus which houses administrative offices and 20 state-of-the-art Upper School English and history classrooms, as well as the new 80,000-square-foot McDonnell Athletic Center, which includes a state-of-the-art fieldhouse and fitness center. In addition, the Ronald A. Holtman Athletic Fields Complex encompasses 30 acres of campus, and it includes five performance and practice fields, and 17 tennis courts.
The School's campus and facilities are unrivaled in the St. Louis area.
